Wow are we dinosaurs yet?
Aha! My last post was on the 23rd of June!? That was half a year ago!!? Man I’m bad at this blogging thing. Easier to design blogs for other folks than to make my own I suppose.
Got me thinking: What have I been up to for the second half of this year? A LOT HAS HAPPENED.
My year has looked like this:
1. I kicked myself out of a job I loved to do
2. I kicked myself out of that job I thought I would love to do
3. I got kicked out of a job I was starting to love — thats a lot of kicking!
4. Now I’m “technically” jobless — but busier than ever!!! At least the kicking has stopped and thankful that we aren’t going hungry.
On the contrary. I think I’m living a dream. We went to Europe. Yeshi turned one and is walking all over the place. Acel’s foundation RIGHT START has kicked off. Tashi has a bike! Yea lots have happened!
So what about the dinosaurs? I was thinking about dinosaurs while listening to MXPX the other day .. (on Youtube!) and it hit me that the music of 1996 (when the walkman was still alive) was some… 16 years ago!!!?? I was 14 then. That was half a lifetime ago. At least my life time anyways. Don’t worry I’m not trying to make anyone older than me feel bad.

Our verse for 2012 comes from 1 John 5:14-15. I’m glad we have a big DAD we can approach with CONFIDENCE and ask anything. He might not answer every prayer. But I’m glad he hears us, and that our CONFIDENCE is on Him.
